1. Reservation
These pages are special made for people who already have made a
 reservation for Casa Jamila.
We would like to rebember you that the rest of the amount (75%) must be
payed 21 days before the arrival date.
Please informe us as soon as possible about your fligth schedule, etc. So we can organise the delivery of the
keys.

2. How to come
The
population of residents in Aljezur is
about 5000, the County of Aljezur has an area of 322 Km2.
Nearby villages are; Odeceixe, Rogil e Bordeira.
The distance to Lisbon is 250km and to Faro is 110 Km. The nearst city is Lagos,
about 30 Km.
You can find "Casa Jamila" 4 km to the North of Aljezur, not so
far from the camping "Camping Serrão".
The best way to come to Casa Jamila is by car. It is also possible by public transports (see bellow).
If you come by plain, you can easy rent a car at the airport of Faro. The best and cheap way is to
organise this is from your onw country.

By car:
From Faro to Aljezur: From the airport, don't drive in direction
"Faro", but take the direction to the highway Portimão/Lagos.
The highway finish in Bensafrim, take
then the direction Aljezur/Lisbon.
You must then pass Aljezur and 4km after Aljezur in direction of Rogil turn to your left hand side (by a café).
At this point you can see a sign with "Praias/Camping". Follow that road
straight
a way for about 900m , after 500 meters you see a sign "Mariares/Camping",
take the direction "Mariares". After
400m and after a ruined house you see a wooden sign with "Jamila", turn then to the left in the house direction.

From
Lisbon to Aljezur:Take the highway to the Algarve. On the highway turn
to Sines and take the direction Odemira. In Odemira take the N120 in
direction of Aljezur/Lagos.Then 3 km after Rogil turn to your right (by a café).

Public Transportations
From Faro:
Taxi: a taxi from Faro will cost about 100 euro. http://algarvetaxi.8m.com/algtarifas.htm
Train + Bus/taxi
Take the train to Lagos. In Lagos then you can take the Bus of "Rede Express"
or the Bus of "EVA" to Aljezur.
A taxi from Lagos to Casa Jamila will cost you about 30 euro.

3. The Arrival
-
When you arrive at the Airport, please call our contact person so she/he
can welcome you and deliver you the keys of the house. The keys will be
delivered at the house.

4. The Stay- Casa Jamila
do not have any beach towels.
- Inside the house you find; clean sheets, blankets, bathtowels, etc.
- The market (Mercado) of Lagos is the cheapest place to do shop.
- You can find more diversity of products at the Market of Aljezur, but it
is more expensive.
- The Bakery (padaria) of Rogil has a good bread and they serve also
breakfasts.
- In
Aljezur you can rent bikes and scooters.
- To go to the Beach of Amoreira you can take the way as showed in the map
above. You can also take the direction of Aljezur and the turn to the
Beach. (see map)
- In the village of Aljezur you can find; Postoffice, Banks, shops, etc.
The Tourist Office is next to the Market (Mercado). In the City Hall you can use the Internet/Mail.

There is also a very good Supermarket in the estern and upper part of
Aljezur
(Igreja Nova). At the church-square if can find a very good Internet
facilty, from Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00 to 21:00 for free.
- You can also make some excursions in the neightbourhood. A visite to the
"Cliffs" (escarpment) of Carrapateira is a "must" for
everyone.

5. The Departure
 We
will appreciate if you leave Casa Jamila
in good state.
In case of damage of anything, please contact our contact person.
Please clean the barbecue before you leave.
Important!
Please do not forget to deliver the keys back.
